Ivan Shishman is a church artist. Besides he is a father of seven and drinks sometimes.
This time he has got an order from Crimean church to make an artwork on the inside surface of its domes.

Yeah, like Ivan Shishkin. Shishman is Bulgarian name. Poster also wrote that he drinks sometimes (because of one photo?). Its very inaccurate.
Actually, Shishman is a german or jewish surname.
Rodriguez, Shishman is an ancient Bulgarian name and one of the greatest Bulgarian royal dynasties.

Although he contributed the creation many beautiful church paintings, Will God forgive his occasional drinking when that man stands before God?
(P.S) I don’t know the restiction of Russian Orthodox Church for its believer. But Dringing is not forbidden?
To my knowledge, I read in bible that drinking consists of “sin”. If I am right, almost every adult russian would be the offender of God’s forbidding!!(Because almost all of them drinks) Then everyone has to predict his or her time of death and has never fail to repent before priest about one’s sin of lifelong drinking to avoid Hell!
We don’t know what he drink and why.
So now it’s time to hide behind an organized religion!
The Bible also says no sin is greater than another and none of us are without sin!
So let us see you walk on water!

Drinking in and of itself is not forbidden in the Bible, but drunkenness is. Remember that while sin may be the reason people go to hell, the lack of any one sin is not the reason they go to heaven. It is only through grace, by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross that anyone is able to go to heaven. Therefore, it is not the works of us as individuals that make us worthy of salvation, but rather the act of Christ that does. So, drinking can not make you lose salvation because you never earned it to begin with. Just remember that you can’t do anything to save yourself from the wrath of God. No amount of clean living can ever make up for your sins. Only your acceptance of Christ as the perfect sacrifice for your sins can make you spiritually whole.
