Speaking of assholes on roads, I hope every one of them will meet his destined KamaZ heavy truck before they could make any damage.
And for streetracers there is a solution in Moscow. From 21 of december they are granted to use some streets on the east part, near park Sokolniky, after 23:00, to race classic 402 m. The mayor agreed to provide police support, and to closely look after the track surface.

Nobody here knows how much is a mile, so it`s 402 meters here. And zhiguli is becoming a rare car in Moscow - too much imports. Within few years it will disappear.
Talking about imported cars, it’s the same in the eastern Russia, all the cheap second hand RHD imported cars from Japan. I read on Wiki (weather it’s true or not) that Jap imported cars make up about 90% of all cars in the like of Vladivostok.
Unless Lada really get their shit together within the next couple of years, they are going to be in real trouble of being possibly put out of business by foriegn imported cars.
