I always like looking at such photos. Vintage chronicles of world war 2 are especially interesting to watch, how people looked like how things looked like - all that emotions etc.
This is another previously not seen here part of World War 2 photos and some of them are in color.

I heard the puppy was a spy & his cover got blown, so they shot him. It’s in the history books.

is actualy from Italy. (18 JUNE 1944: A German Tiger tank on its side in a ditch, north of Rome, and an American lorry in the background driving past.)
some of the photos looks like WWI with the maxims (i dont know if maxims were used in WWII).
i thought that too… oh well! there are some great WWII shots anyway
It`s begin of WWII. Red Army had no modern weapons at that time. In warehouses was many ancient but still working Maxims.
I’m missing the pictures of WWII when soviet and nazi officers are shaking hands after 1939 Sep 17 Poland invasion. Are all of such pictures made unavailable in RU already or they just do not fit into current political setup?

“At noon on 30 September 1938, Poland gave an ultimatum to the Czechoslovak government. It demanded the immediate evacuation of Czech troops and police and gave Prague time until noon the following day. At 11:45 a.m. on 1 October the Czech foreign ministry called the Polish ambassador in Prague and told him that Poland could have what it wanted. The Polish Army, commanded by General Władysław Bortnowski, annexed an area of 801.5 km² with a population of 227,399 people. The Germans were delighted with this outcome. They were happy to give up a provincial rail centre to Poland; it was a small sacrifice indeed. It spread the blame of the partition of Czechoslovakia, made Poland a seeming accomplice in the process and confused the issue as well as political expectations. POLAND WAS ACCUSED OF BEING AN ACCOMPLICE OF NAZI GERMANY – a charge that Warsaw was hard put to deny.”
To, BIsm - and it happened before September 17, 1939. So, who was shaking hands with Nazi in first place? It’s only one example from many that you weren’t so innocent yourself. And stop fucking complaining, everybody tired already to hear how Russians have abused poor Polish for centuries.
Maxim’s machinegun was main machinegun in Soviet Army. Second one was Degtyarov’s machinegun.

Guess that pic. 34 is some early equipment for positioneering of enemy ariplanes (guess one get a virtual centerpoint on the plane by listening efter the engine sound before the modern radar existed)
