      In Russia it is so unbelievable cold, frozen chickens in the air are a real problem to air traffic.

      No indoor hanger to work in? I bet the Air France mechanics loved the working conditions.

        The airfield didnt have hangar big enough? Also, it’s quite complicated to transfer a plane to another airfield if the plane itself cannot take off.

      As far as I recall, this was not a bird strike incident, it was an engine failure in-flight over siberia. There have been a number of such engine incidents with this model of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft
