Apartment for Rent

Another find from Moscow realty website.
The owner gives it out for rent, the price is around $900. He says the apartment is furnished and ready to live in.

hah, pretty bad it is.
Say what you want, but the owner showed ambition!!!!! Rare in russia!!!! And the apartment is OK, needs some painting maybe. Standard ‘Russian’ dwelling
Well bud this apartment needs more than paint! The 70 year old apartment I lived in for 2 weeks during my first trip to Russia was half as nice as this one and it was remodeled who knows how many times.
Even Russians have a certain standard for living don’t they.
That flat would look nice if it was fixed up a little.I have never seen a flat like this one.
nice place for a crack house.
i think it’s pretty good
Does the elevator work?
typical flat of drunken russians
my life is so sad
And I thought some of the SROs in San Francisco were bad! Holy Shit!
Half of San Fran lives on the streets!
Even they give me 900 dollars to live in, I’d rather say NO. Maybe rats want to, conditionally…
Even if they give me $900 a day to live in that crap, I’d say NO!
looks like something from Fallout3
Any reason the pictures repeat going down the page?
This is a beautiful example of minimalism. You can see the extreme interpretation of geometrical art displayed here. For instance, the lone chair at the window is providing a beautiful view of the city. There is much space for chickens and other livestock to live here with the owner. To me 900/mo. is a small price to pay for this cutting-edge art house.
The $ sign is for US Dollars. Is $900US really the price? If so, the building owner should be shot.
It is easy to mess up crappy real estate brokers. Just meet them there for a look at the place.
CIA, you need to kill the entire Moscow city then
I’d charge extra, for the patine…
This place must specifically be for foreigners hahaha.
Looks like a typical Soviet apartment that hasn’t seen any capital repairs since it was built.
900 rubles a month? Sure, it beats freezing to death in winter.
$900 (US) per month? I don’t think so, not unless the place has a primo location, such as close to Red Square or something. Even then the place in that condition wouldn’t be appealing to most foreign visitors.
Now if the owner were to spend a few thousand cleaning it up, painting and putting in some new appliances, then it would be a bargain.
But as is, hell no.
looks like my room
¡Qué hijo de puta!
Looks like My bedroom…
Maybe the building will be demolished, that flat looks terrible.Everything needs to be remodeled. That flat looks worse than the one I lived in when I was in Ekaterinburg Russia!
wow!!! wow!! wow!! i know this is no laughing matter but i cudnt help it!! ^^ lmao!!really? i thought russia was 1st world country!! guess not very country wid tall buildings is 1st world. i really love u all!! u commenters are really hilarious!! make me laugh. this my 1st blogging sit n its pretty cool!! keep up tha gr8 work!!! ^^
Its not been touched since it was built 50 years ago. It’s in the centre of the city and when renovated, would be worth a lot of money.
I wouldn´t buy that for 900$…renting that for 900$ a month would be plain stupid.
It seems for $50 of paint he could cover entire apartment in one day. It would pay for it’s self many times over in the speed of finding renter for apartment.
I’ll burn that place down for free.
Looks pretty nice to me.
I just farted and a litle poo piece came out with it.
That place would be a bargain in NYC.
вранье какое-то
dostoevskji style !
my grandma has a saying: “it is better than Siberia”
hmmm… It does have a lotta character.
I don’t see any difference between US and Russian accommodation in such level, make couple of steps outside any American cities and you put your nose to worse shit. Look, who are talking, f@ckin millionaires, this pictures pure provocation, one lunatic post it, dozen screaming.
Let’s just say, it needs a lot of work… I don’t know if that’s mold on the walls or if they are just that dirty, but if it’s mold it’s definitely unsafe to live in. It could be a nice apartment if it was cleaned up, the cables were attached to the walls, and a bit of plaster and paint here, there and everywhere. Clean the toilet and bathtub with some toilet cleaner. Light fixtures and flooring wouldn’t hurt either.
Silent Hill, мля!
Nope; they don’t say “furnished and ready to live in”; instead the ad said “it’s destroyed” rightfully.
And it’s inexpensive really for such a place and flat size.
Man this place looks right out of the movie “1984″. I wouldnt be surprised to se a telescreen somewhere and Winston lying around!
The apartment in fine. It is good for prostitutes and drug sales, set up drug factory, etc.. It has a toilet for vomit, and bed for the prostitute. What else is needed?
I wouldn’t even put my trash in there..Good Grief..
I can’t even imagine how that place smells on top
of how bad it looks. It wouldn’t even be rented in
most places in the U.S. . In most cities buildings
and apartments have to be inspected to make sure they meet
all of the electrical, plumbing and safety codes. That place
would fail before any U.S. housing code inspector made it past the front door..If the rest of the building is that bad
it would probably be condemned outright and tagged unfit
for occupancy.
“Stop.InSpb.Info” is the centre of booking in St.-Petersburg which is engaged in booking, including booking in day of arrival, hotels, minihotels, hostels and apartments in, St.-Petersburg and suburbs.
LOL, I remember seeing this on other blogs which claim this “apartment” is available for rent in Budapest.
I believe some old person died here. Is the body still in the apartment? I wouldn’t move in until they remove it. That was my only real concern. And yes, I would say that it’s furnished. Great for young artist…no worrying about getting paint on floor and walls. Probably this will become a museum some day and people will pay to see it.
