Very interesting. It’s exactly the same as in the time of Tsar Nikolai II. Then also a few very rich people had such vehicles (in that time it was golden carriages pulled by horses) and a huge number of starving peasants. And now, after 100 years, despite Bolshevik revolution, it is exactly the same. Russia has learned nothing and progressed not at all.
And at the same time, Russia has learned nothing about democratic government, and still ruled by a KGB spy despite failure of USSR.

Of course , she is right in many ways: Russia today is a highly corrupted, petroleum-based-economic, agressive country with some kind of totalitaric system, where ruling elite cares only about it’s pockets and all other people just tolerate all the situation for many hundred years. There is little freedom of speech in Russia, too.
But I can’t understand why we should divide people by nationality, taking nicknames like “La Rusophobe”, “Der Anglophob”, etc. All people are of the same roots and origin, and there are good and bad people in every nationality. Our country (oh yeah i’m living here) and it’s habitats deserves not hatred but respect for the fact that with such politic and economic situation in country there are still many cultural and scientific achievements here.
And for that political situation - I can’t say what is better. In western countries like USA tolitharism is subsituted with it’s corporate version - people are being controlled by marketing giants , lifestyle is concentrated on consuming, sense of life becomes similar to computer cell value - 0/1 i.e. makes profit for system/not. People are becoming cells in giant database, for the glory and fame of soulless progress (and someone’s profit, of course).
While bad economic, practically absence of good roads, theft, bribery, giant distances - all of this factors are maing big troubles for our country to become one more column in gigant globalized DB. So there’s still many places in our country where people find their sense of living in harmony with nature and thenselves.
I live here since my birthday and i can’t say all that is presented in this blog is not true. It’s cruel reality, bur i sure that is because our country has it’s own way in this world.

I am an American against the war in Iraq but even more I do think it is important to hunt down and kill without mercy anyone responsible for the attack on your country and mine.
