Party in Iran

Russian guy in Iran

After the latest events in Iran, their elections and all this hype with their nuclear program one Russian blogger decided to go there to check how the things are on place. Iranians always were of positive opinion of Russia and Russians so the trips there are not considered dangerous or unwanted for Russian people.

He spent some time there and told later in his blog that what he has seen there is a society of dual standards. From one side there is a dictatorship of Islamic revolution guards who prohibit many of the Western fun activities, such as drinking or public Western parties etc, like ladies can’t go outside without hijab or in short skirt, alcohol is forbidden, you can be executed for being gay, also there is an Internet censorship going on, so he couldn’t update his blog while being there.

But all this things are just a format state of society. When the doors closed people change their cloths to Western and make big parties with lots of drinks, women, satellite TV. Tech genius sell and install the internet un-blocking devices that can get around the censorship means and let you surf freely.

He has made some shots on one of such parties. You could never thinkg those shots were made in Iran, it looks like just common party of the West.

Except that now the Irani thought police now have the photos pf perpetrators and can have them identified and properly punished.
Now they will be examples for the rest of those subversives.

You, Russians, should have known better.

Greeting from the 5th largest country in the world.

      • cm says:

Guess after this you russians won’t be as welcome anymore, you people have no responsability or conscience whatsoever.

Might as well have sent the pictures straight to the aiatolahs’ thugs with their names and addresses :P

    2. Rizwan says:

      Where is Mahmoud Ahmedinejad

    3. dip says:

Come on guys, at least blur the faces with a few filters! That’s ridiculous, you’re exposing these peoople and endanger their lifes!

    4. Joe says:

looking at these chicks I’m beginning to think that maybe burkas and headscarves have a purpose after all…

      • Pavlov says:

Yea, keeping the infidels eyes away from their beauty. Loved the girl wearing glasses @ 1st pic.

      • Finally someone besides me truly understands WHY they keep the women covered up.

The women pictured are all relatively young and already look like crap. The older woman pictured is enough to make anyone want to cover up.

        • Joe & McQueen,
Those are just normal women and implying that they are ugly could mean that authors have some serious problems.
Normally truly unattractive people call everyone around ugly - it’s a kind of a defensive reaction. Similarly people with lack of education and simply brain power call everyone around stupid.

    5. And, what should these pictures say at all?

    6. Andrius says:

the granny looks like Iron Sheik.

It is fucked up. This should not be shown on the internet out of concern for these people’s safety.

    7. authorized1 says:

it’s all true, I know a couple of Iranians here in Germany, and they all told me that all that Islamic stuff with burkas and no alcohol is just a kind of public order, that no one is allowed to break; Iran is actually a rich country, not like Afghanistan, so there is also a big middle class, who do not accept the strong Islamic rules (but they don’t say so of course), there are black markets where you can buy everything, from alcohol to porn magazines, there is prositution, and in their homes the youth makes parties with all typical stuff - drinking, f*ing etc.

ps. and Iranian women are really cute, of course not everyone, like in any other country; In Europe there are even porn stars of Iranian origin, and they are so HOT I must say :)

    8. Alec L says:

agreed w/ joe, maybe they could get some face-control at the door to decide who can take her burkha off …
also, who’s the bearded twerp in the orange hawaiian shirt and glasses? do i smell an expat? he looks like an acquaintance of mine who went off to grow organic berries in Vermont …

    9. denied says:

      UGH. Persian chics are fugly.

Never post pictures of them again!

I only want to see Russian babes.

    10. nw99 says:

Whua, after seeing that I might wear a hijab.

They should have blurred the faces, now these women are in Iran’s most wanted.

    11. Jay Nogg says:

Iranian girls are usually much better looking than these mingers

    12. chewbie says:

more russian girls! less iranian fatsoes.
      Please!

    13. CZenda says:

This sort of behavior is common in all totalitarian states. It is also called “doublethink”.
And yes, I think it is quite nasty to expose the faces unless the photographer was allowed to do so by the participating people.

    14. Furcio says:

Hey! Please blur the faces of the people.

    15. Frankie says:

Damn, they’ll beat them to death just for having their faces 100% recognizable here…

    16. Webmaster, please blur the faces. You are endangering the lives of innocent people.

    17. lolz says:

haha, no one is going to do anything to them, just because CNN/BBC tells you that over 5 billion people die daily in Iran because of Ahmadinejad, doesn’t mean it’s true.

    18. Shame on the moron who has taken these pictures and the turd who has posted them on this website.

    19. Dobra Utero says:

Covering their eyes are not enough. They are still recognizable by the Sharia police. They are completely innocent and their lives are still in danger. Please either blur their faces or take down this post before it falls into the hands of the Iranian goons. This is a very serious matter!

      • XVIII says:

If their lives are in danger, why would they let themselves be photographed?

        • Joe_shmoe says:

Probably because they thought that their photos would just be shown to family and friends in far-away Russia, not posted on the goddamn internet right as the government is committing its worst right-wing crackdown since the 1979 revolution, and ESPECIALLY not with “these are the people who went on streets after the elections took place” written below.

    20. Mr Jones says:

I guess no one noticed average people in USA look about the same, maybe worse. At least these Iranians don’t have tatoos and appear somewhat healthy and normal. Americans are MUCH fatter than Iranians. Folks, the true totalitarian/terrorist regime is USA. Stop watching TV and start thinking for yourselves

    21. V says:

Please remove this pictures, or cover up all the faces 100% immediately, your negligence is placing this people in a lot of danger

    22. nw99 says:

I’m surprised the camera survived, I though it would have broke on the first click.

I’m curious to see if we don’t blur, the police are corrupt their so a bribe won’t hurt.

    23. sam says:

Well, this does not surprise me.
Now lets hopt the morons in office don’t hunt these people down….

    24. KOOL says:

look like iran brothel rather than party

    25. rjflorida says:

Holy crap some of them are beautiful.

    26. Islam the supposed RELIGION OF FREEDOM
Even my dog has more freedom islam sucks for man and woman specially for woman

    27. Robert says:

Iranian woman are one of most beautiful, and like noone played Prince of Persia. You ppl are stupid to comment this kind of thing. I wish that soon enough things in Iran come back to normal and that those ppl don’t need to hide from anyone anymore. And me, am wanna get myself some pretty dark haired persian girl.

    28. Gustavo says:

Are you crazy people to show these photos! u are exposing these poor persons to a big punishment, that you can even come to the execution of these. Think before publishing photos of a contents that makes all the difference to these girls, if they were kind and they showed them part of their truth u cannot be so treacherous, this is a treason Russian evils…!!! think with ur head stupid asshole’s

    29. Clouseau says:

How will they find them if they are wearing their hajibs?

    30. Chaz says:

Wow there’s a lot of trolls posting here. Thanks for the pictures, I had heard about this kind of thing before, and it’s pretty neat how they live this double life.

Are any of the posters here actually from Iran? If you are, could you offer an example of someone getting punished for having their picture posted from a party? Jeez you think their police just surfs the net looking for pictures lol? They’ve got riots to worry about.

      • Ala says:

Well, these people CAN get into real trouble.I’ve seen many examples of real harsh punishments for breaking the ridiculous sharia laws in Iran.A friend of mine was actually expelled from university because the photos of a party in which she was with her boyfriend(similar to this one)was published.Luckily she didn’t face criminal punishment. And as for your question, the police in Iran IS outrageously focused on causing people discomfort rather than doing actual work. And they DO surf the internet tracking people.Right now a some people(I don’t exactly know how many) are being prosecuted for publishing pornographic and erotic material on the net.And here’s the fascinating part;they could face the capital punishment!I agree that things are not as Taliban like as media show, but it definitely is not pleasant. This is all I could provide you with, hope it helps!

And to idiots here calling these girls ugly,Iranian women are pretty, like many other women in middle east and other parts of the world, people have different tastes.Do we have to impose even our taste to each other too??Isn’t it enough that we do so with our beliefs and religions and shit like that???You don’t like them then just simply don’t watch!

    31. Al Hudson says:

Like in every place of the world (and from the internet)always are morons that don’t have any good to say and only talk sht.

The girls in the pictures look great!

    32. Brian says:

It looks like the Sharia is going to have a fun time torturing these people for their sins against Muhammed. Who cares they are self declared enemies of my nation. They bitch, moan and threaten us from their little patch of dirt in the middleast. They ask us to stay out of their business, and at the same time ask us for aid in establishing a democracy. If they are so strong, so rightous, so beloved by Allah. Then stand up and do it yourself. Toss aside the Clerics who rule your nation, and be the bright pearl of a country you once so long ago were. If not sink further into theocracy and religious idealisms and become a wasteland by your own hand or the nuclear fireball we bring down apaun you.

    33. ion says:

that party looks more like a russian party, where ugly girls use too much make-up to feel “trendy”

    34. Yay cheers to the persians, been to their parties, very nice, beautiful, funny and welcoming people, some losers here could learn a lot from them. Oh and they dont hate us russians, yay!!

    35. .... says:

    38. کونی

    39. mahmood says:

    40. ali says:

      Down with russia

    41. Kourosh says:

Hey Chaz! I’m from Iran and I tell you that yes, our police surfs the net and will punish everyone who did anything that the terrorist government doesn’t like! There is a military group in Iran called Basij and they are about 8 millions! They have enough power and persons to do anything even surfing the net and find people! We hate them, we hate our regime and we wish better days for Iran without any fcuking mullahs!
