I absolutely agree we have some homegrown idiots of our own in the US of A…I think this title “Only in Russia” is not really fair…this kind of stuff happens all over the world. Unfortunately for Russians some other countries in the world will always find ways to vilify and portray Russia in the most negative way possible.
I agree with Igor and Ioren Bagby (sounds kind of oxymoronic, but it’s true).
Speaking as a patriotic Russian, I strongly believe that Russia (or the USA, or any such countries) would be advanced and its people would live under comfortable, modern conditions if the government was different. Soviet Union, from what my mother and grandmother have told me, was way more advanced than the USA which was under various presidents whom we couldn’t dislike more (with some exceptions like J F Kennedy). Why? Because in the Soviet Union, the government cared for the people, thusly the people cared for the government. A doctor would live just as well as a politician. An orphan would have the same chance to become a lawyer as any child with parents.
Say what you will against me, Russians and Soviet Union, but you’ll have to face the facts some day. And as much as certain “provocateurs” love to falsificate history, you can’t falsifacate the truth for ever, especially with people who have eyes to see and mouths to truthfully tell what they’ve seen or heard from reliable sources or experience. Ever since Soviet Union broke down (not by itself - Soviet Union as a socialist or communist nation did not fail - but several “Trojan Horses” went into USSR and destroyed it. Now people want it back again.) Russia has been in just as bad conditions of working and living as the US or most countries in Western Europe.
The way the people are and how they live or how degraded they feel, depends on the government and, consequently, the system of government.
Moving to the actual article itself: How does one know if all these pictures come from Russia at all? Or if some of them do, which part of Russia? Every capitalist country (Russia is being run by capitalists, for now) has atleast a dozen of poverty-stricken villages or towns where the people there are complete rednecks. Plus, they’re not necessarily Russians! Have you thought that some of these people might be foreigners? Besides, a zoomed-in camera picture is the worst kind of evidence or proof for anything that there is. “OH LOOK, I ZOOMED IN ON A BROKEN HOUSE! HARHAR, IM GOING TO SAY ALL THE HOUSES IN CHINA LOOK LIKE THIS! PLEASE BELIEVE MEH asdghjdihatechinese”

The best one is the geezer at the wedding.
Those morons threw stones at traffic light. Also they ravaged the president’s palace and the parliament and some other buildings. That was not in Russia, but in Moldova. When the communist party once again won the elections there, some “liberal” idiots and supporters of the union with Romania gathered and tried to make some kind of protest, but very soon they came out of control and started fighting with police and marauding all around. After much havoc they were stopped by the police.
Some people think that it was an attempt of the colour revolution, but most likely it wasn’t, it was just mass madness started by some liberastic idiots.

Russia does not produce anything except oil. Commonly, Russian production is extremely poor yet expensive. There could be some foreign productions located in Russia, but it is well known that they are terrorized by the so-called “Russian state” (like anyone who lives there).
Russia is the #2 exporter of cabbage.

Photo 16: This happened right after the football match Saturn Ramenskoye - Zenit Saint Petersburg. This policeman, among others, was almost crushed to death by an over-enthousiastic audience after Zenit became Russia’s champions in 2007. I was present and I can tell you that it didn’t make me laugh.

Many of this pictures bear a trademark sign of the idioteka.ru - a Russian-speaking website on which users from all over the former SU post their pictures so there is a high chance not all of this pictures are taken in Russia. Just like that street poster with a woman (#11) is in Ukrainian language.
