I’m a lonely person. At some point in my sad life, Russia wronged me and my family, and to avenge them, I religiously obsess over anything and everything Russian, such as this site. I am very bitter and take advantage of every opportunity to express my sour grapes. I claim I’m from India because I’m too ashamed of own country, but everyone knows it’s a lie. Even though I think I’m convincing everyone what horrible people Russians are, I don’t realize that I’m being kept around these forums for the sole purpose of allowing everyone who frequents this site to laugh at me. Woe is me and my family.

Only teenagers, celebrities, and punks worry about how popular they are. Real leaders make tough decisions for the long-term benefit of their country. Ridding the world of Saddam Hussein and any other crazy bastard who funded terrorism and constantly kept the people of Israel, America, or any other country in terror of the next suicide bombing, is a noble thing.

If Obama really believed Gitmo was a slaughterhouse, or that the detainees there were really being treated with undue or undeserved harshness, then why did his Executive Order say to close it “within a year”? Why not get them the hell out right now? Why not airdrop them into the countries from which they came, and say, “here’s your piece of shit–you take care of him and let him roam YOUR streets”?
Why not ship them to regular federal prisons in the US? Again, if you had any real concern for objectivity you’d know. It’s because now that Obama is in the hotseat and responsible, he’s singing a different song than the one he used to seduce voters who know nothing about war.
And if you had ever been inside one of Saddam’s REAL “slaughterhouses” (and I have), or talked to any of the people he tortured–heck, if you’d just read a Human Rights Watch or Amnesty International report from the days of Saddam’s rule–you would know that the piddly-assed interrogation techniques used at Gitmo are nothing.
The fact that those same techniques are used on many of our own special operations forces during training should be a dose of reality to any thinking person.
