You must have no idea what it is like to live in a mature, capitalist democracy. I do, and I have a crappy job delivering pizza 32 hours a week, yet manage to own a house with an in ground swimming pool, 2 cars and a pickup truck, multiple computers, a 50 in plasma flat screen TV, internet and cable TV, central air conditioning, etc. My life is typical of a poor American who makes smart decisions and does not get in to debt.
I have crappy pizza delivered to ME!! I have 50cm plasma televisor!! I have house with 2 window an 2 room!! I have some of those other things too!!

I think I am not welcome here, since my comment did not appear after some hours.
I will travel to the home of English Russia and try to meet with the owners to persuade them to be more hospitable to me on their nice site. After I offer them wine from the foothills of the Zagros mountains, sweet pastries sprinkled with golden, buttery, Iranian almond chips, a demonstration of Persian dancing boys, and the best hashish, usually available only to friendly members of the French and German Parliaments, I think they will be more friendly.

I think it’s sad. There’s been rioting going on all over europe lately. It’s not just about money, it’s about politics too.

Beleive it or not, way back when I was a young traveler, I actually lived for a week with some real live PLO guys. You know what? This is true. I am from Europe, and last summer I was in Palestine/Israel. And yes, Palestinians are much more hospitable and nice persons than the Israelis. It’s only being ruined by the Israelis who suppress them like shit.
And for the muslim immigrants in Europe, I believe that most of the immigrants coming to Europe, are the less educated poor muslims, who think they can get a better chance at life. The educated ones living in Muslim countries are often doing well enough to not want to emigrate.
I know if my home was in Gaza I would do everything in my power to get out of there. Still I was shocked to see the number of Muslim families living in cardboard boxes in the underground subways/malls of Germany - that was back in the 80’s. I’m sure it hasn’t gotten any better. It’s a crisis that took a long time to develope: there’s no easy answer now.
I think it has gotten better, me myself being from Denmark, where we have many muslim immigrants too. We don’t have any living on the streets, but we have some ghettos, especially in the capitol which mostly consists of muslim immigrants, and the Danish government is trying to integrate them, but it’s not going that well…
I have fond memories of Denmark - I was in Copenhagen at Christmas once; it was spectacular!

This started as peceful demonstration from 17.30 to 19.30 - talks, songs, and so on, with some 10-20k ppls. Reason for this demonstration - our stupid government and their economic policy. At the end of this demonstration there some instigators started their actions, mostly russians - some youths were holding holding russian flag, some were throwing eggs at outgoing choristers, most were prepared for this with clothes to hide faces etc. Then some 1k ppls tried to brake in parlament building, but it doesn’t happen. Thei also throwed stones to windows, damaged police cars [8 or 9 damaged, 2 will be scrapped, both shown in one picture] and rioted that Latvia’s Balsam store. Order was restored somewhere about 22.00 or earlier.
Looters should be shot. doesn’t matter if they are Communist or Capitalist, Fasist or Faggost. Shoot the fuckers in the head. They are stealing someone’s livelihood. The shop owners depend on this stock to put food on their families plates.

At the beginning this started as a “manifestation against the actual governament” and it actually had some sense. I mean, finally the latvians were doing something about the crisis instead of just complaining and whining about how bad the situation is.
The problem is that, after a while, some stupid fools started this mess and the “serious political manifestation” became a “useless stupid riot”. Dumb people always have to ruin everything.
