That’s just awesome and very creative :)

    4. Best to drink vodka pure and in huge quantities.

What a fuckin stupid post this blog is going downhill

    6. Qawi says:

If they only use Skittles for the color then why couldn’t you go to the store and get some food colors instead? Maybe they don’t work on spirits? dunno..

    7. Texas1 says:

It would be a real pain in the butt to sepperate out all of the different skittles colors. Just go buy a mixer or some orange soda if you want a fruit taste and color.

bleh… these are so last century

    9. What a waste of perfectly good vodka. Everyone knows that you store your vodka cold, in the dark, in a tightly closed (and preferably full) bottle. And if you want to mix it into a faggy bright-colored swill, you do it right before drinking.

Then again, with the kind of vodka your average working stiff drinks in Russia, it would probably be extremely difficult to make it taste nastier than it already does. In fact, skittles just might improve the flavor to the point of it becoming drinkable.

    10. CZenda says:

      Very stupid idea.

    11. I guess after drinking this you could see rainbows as well as tasting them.

    12. Notebooks says:

      Nemiroff is Ukrainian vodka.

Say, I’m visiting Russia in a few weeks. I’ve tried some Russian vodka before, and came away with the impression that even very cheap vodka in Russia is far superior to most of what we drink in the states (which is why I don’t drink much vodka).

Can anyone recommend a decent, fairly cheap, really awesome vodka to me? And would you mind writing the name in Cyrillic then explaining how to pronounce it?

      • If you really appreciate good vodka, neat or on the rocks, stick with Grey Goose and Ketel One. Even though export version of Stolichnaya (Столичная, Stoh-lEEch-nah-ya) is palatable, the variety I tried back in Russia was a bit harsh for drinking neat. Russkaya (Русская, ROOss-kah-ya) is even worse. You can try Posol’skaya (lit., Ambassador’s, Посольская, Poh-sOhl-ska-ya), although I never tried that. Now, if whiskey is your cup of tea, you may want to try Starka (Старка, StAh-rkah), and if you like liqueurs and herbal infusions, try Riga Black Balsam (Рижский бальзам, REEzh-ski bahl-zahm) or Zubrowka (Зубровка, Zoo-brOw-kah).

Are you looking for something to get your internet bride drunk with?

      • WT says:

        I recommend Russian Standard vodka.
        cyrillic: Русский стандарт

I think it’s pronounced “rooskee standart”

What a load of rubbish. Alcohol is for drinking not looking at.

I’ve got an Uzbekistan friend that gave me some crazy, powerful vodka that made me wobbly after just two shots and went down smooooooooooooth.
