nigga ru still here…beat it, boy…stop spreading your black filthy anger here :)))))
having these cars as taxis is retarded, but at the same time quite interesting how much do they charge for a ride in them? they better use this money to clean the river they have shown on another set of pics..but of course- who da fuck cares, right? ;) lets live the luxurious life “na pomoike” :))i hope this stupidity will go away in during my lifetime and i will witness a smarter investments in Russia.

      wtf….
      btw first

    2. lithuanian says:

Is that maybach? I think it costs more than $200.000.

      • sugar daddy says:

yes it costs more then $200.000 which is $200

$200,000 on the other hand is $200k

maybe in lithunia it doesnt make a difference if you use a . or a , but in the rest of the civilized world it does.

        • MIchael says:

Yeah, and everybody undestanded him… everybody except you. Typical american…

        • lithuanian says:

Nobody likes syntax nazis, not even uncivilized lithuanians..

        • What does that supposed to mean?

        • marvin says:

Civilized? The USA and civilized? Thank you, sugar daddy, thank you for giving me the laugh of my life. There are several conventions when it comes to numbers (and separating thousands), and the Anglo-American way of doing this is not a tiny bit more civilized than, for instance, that of the German one. Or any other for that matter … A good, and American (or civilized should you happen to like this better) word to separate you from the rest of the civilized world would be “moron”. Think before you spit such nonsense out of your trap, will you?

        • aca says:

          actually 200.000 is 200k, and 200,000 is 200.

          • liva says:

that’s correct. i know it’s used in engineering, and most likely in other areas, because it’s easier to see the exact number, especially when more digits are involved.

        • Wágner Úr says:

Only stupid americans separate digits by , (comma)!

          • wut says:

Only pathetic small-penised people with nothing more to be proud about than their nationality pick on the nationality of others.

    3. foozle says:

A Porsche Cayenne costs $200,000 in Russia? Is this in rubles or American dollars?

If the latter, I am glad I don’t live in Russia! Damn, we can get them for under $50,000 here in California.

      • alex says:

        the car is pimped….^^

        • 123 says:

that is a TechArt Magnum, with 650 to 800 bhp which is well over 150k €, so according of the exchange rate of today, more than 200k $

      • Almost everything that is imported into Russia costs twice as much (or more) as it does anywhere else. This is because of the Russian protectionist policies that call for huge import tarrifs.

Once again Russia misses the mark. People buy imported things because they are of much higher quality than Russian-produced goods. No one who can afford it wants to buy, or own a Russian anything except vodka (best in the world!)

Finally when you factor in that many Russians think the more something costs the better it must be (because if it wasn’t so good it wouldn’t cost so much!), that’s how you get 200K for a Porsche you can buy anywhere else for 50K.

Russians: Have money, but no sense of value.

        • maxD says:

Yep. That’s why Russia is so lagging in the Global Economy.

          http://www.weforum.org/en/initiatives/gcp/Global%20Competitiveness%20Report/index.htm

Number 58 on a total of 131 countries. Between Croatia and Panama..

Porsche Cayenne is boring, but it’s a Porsche, so it’s good !
In Holland I noticed that the common taxi is a Mercedes.

          • D says:

Picking meaningless statistics out of your ass again?

            “Global competivness report”

What does that mean anyway? How many of those countries would you rather live in? Start a family? Raise a kid? Wouldnt do any of that in croatia or panama.

And to steam mcqueen, please read an economics book, you migh actually gain some knowledge. One thing that is a barrier for ALL coutries competing on a global scale is the WTO, break down that barrier and the russian ecomony improves dramatically, something the U.S. is trying its hardest to prevent.

            • maxD says:

              You are funny.

Bringing down the WTO will improve Russian economy ? Like, they can all of a sudden export illegal DVDs and software ? Outside of their national resources they have virtually nothing to export.

              What this report is ?

The Global Competitiveness Report is a yearly report published by the World Economic Forum. The first report was released in 1979. The 2007-2008 report covers 131 major and emerging economies.[1] The report “assesses the ability of countries to provide high levels of prosperity to their citizens. This in turn depends on how productively a country uses available resources. Therefore, the Global Competitiveness Index measures the set of institutions, policies, and factors that set the sustainable current and medium-term levels of economic prosperity.” [1] It has been widely cited and used by many scholarly and peer-reviewed articles.

Another similar index is the annual ‘Ease of doing business report’. Russia is at position 106 [of 178], just above Bangladesh.

              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ease_of_Doing_Business_Index

Or take the ‘Index of Economic Freedom’ where Russia is together with some African dictatorial states considered not free - the lowest score.

The Economic Freedom of the World overview puts Russia in position 112, between Colombia and Benin.

Tried to do business in Russia myself, and I can only confirm these findings.

I.e the legal system will not support you in any way, the only thing that matters is the amount of money you have, which will buy you ‘blat ‘ [блат: to put it simple it means using influence/bribes etc. to achieve results or get ahead]. The corruption kills every long term plan. Contracts are not worth the paper they’re written on. Etc… the mentality is the biggest problem - everybody is so used to it that it might never change. Unfortunately. Because the potential is there.

              • D says:

Not just exports, it will bring down costs and tarrifs on imports too.

Those reports mean nothing, and many are biased againts russia as they are produced by western backed entities, they try to discourage investment in russia. I’m not saying its good or great or easy to start a business in russia, but russia is a superpower, it stands on a whole other level compared to 90% of the countries on those lists. All I’m saying is keep an open mind and look at the bigger picture, dont limit yourself to a “Global competivness report”

              • geo says:

Who needs competitiveness? We got oil and gas, and after that forests and vodka! Capitalism blows anyway.

            • pld says:

I certainly would start a family in Croatia. Haven’t been to Panama, wouldn’t know. Definitely not in Russia.

            • Razor Ned says:

In what way is Croatia a worse country than anywhere else (Russia and Panama included) to raise a family? It’s very easy to make sweeping judgements about countries when you have no knowledge of the world at all, let alone stepped out of your own front door. Stop being so arrogant, you truly ignorant halfwit!

          • M says:

You’re right!! We do have Mercedes in Holland!! Beren to Moscow too and this is not a regular taxi there….most of them are russian or east european cars!!

      • Ortodox says:

50k yes for the used standard model,Cayenne turbo cost fortune, more than 130k Euro…second hand Maybach with low km is also arround 200k$

      • Steelbud says:

Mind you, unlike Europe or United States most of Cayennes bought in Russia are either S or Turbo. However taxes are still high so they cost relatively more than in the USA.

      • Steelbud says:

P.S. seen this particular one from the pics today:P (no need to call care police)

    4. Soul says:

Maybach Moscow`s taxi drivers are rich?
