      1) About explosion: to make such a firework as it was in Nyagan you’ll need at least a gas-holder or gas magistral. A couple of pathetic cylinders is just not enough for that.

      2) About transportation. Who said that cylinders on the photos are intended for gas storage? I doubt that: kitchen cylinders are much smaller and painted red, industrial ones (used for welding) are twice as taller and two times narrower and painted blue. And all of them (full or empty) are _always_ being transported by special trucks. So, for me those rusty ones seem most likely some part of an old boiler-room equipment.

      wrong.
      blue cylinders: oxygene
      yellow (or brown, with yellow strip): acetylene
      every gas has its own “colour code”. (i think red is for proban-butan, the smaller cylinders are painted red, larger ones has a red strip)
