Well, what would be the best thing for a Russian astronaut to show from the International Space Station for the entertainment TV viewers in Russia? Probably some Westerners would answer: “Hey, show how to drink vodka in zero gravity conditions!”. And here the Russian cosmonaut drinks it right on ISS!

It is not Russian, a Ukrainian television channel and Ukrainian astronaut.
It’s a Russian cosmonaut (not astronaut) originating from Ukraine.
Either way, both words -cosmonaut, astronaut-, are of Greek origin:). Kosmos, astro, navtis … all Greek words:)

This petty nationalism is getting more and more silly. But Kiev [called 'Rus' back then] was where Russia as an independent state started. If you want to nitpick, you might even say that Russia should be part of Ukraine, not the other way around.
