A Fish Identifying Tool

One blogger has found this old Soviet thing that was very popular among fishing lovers in Soviet times. This rotating disc had many types of fishes written on it and one could use it to identify or find the correct attributes of the fish he is going to catch, like what kind of hooks he had to use, what are well known places were in USSR to get the most of fishing for this fish etc. Russian bloggers discussed this tool greatly and they are sure there was nothing like this in USA, but I am sure there were something like this in USA too.

In U.S.A. fish catches you.
The US is the new SU.
Fuck you all - I fucking hate when fucking people use that fucking word fuck, for fuck’s sake.
Pull my finger.
I wonder, does your fish-o-meter also have anything about those horseshoe crabs ?
We used stuff like this for Copy Protection in a lot of mid-90’s videogames; they’d ask a question and you had to line up the open boxes.
Then, put in the info. Makes old games really hard to play if you lose the thing!
Last LOL
I haven’t seen one of these devices for fishing in the US, but I have ones for bird-watching.
