In Moscow there is a “Square of Three Railway Stations”, the place where the railroads from tens of destinations meet in one point. Many people come each day to Moscow and sometimes they are met with such a 30ft tall figure wandering around between the cars. To give a loaf of bread with salt for guests is an ancient Russian custom that symbolizes hospitality. So welcome to Moscow!

I’m so looking forward to going to Russia, it just seems like such a fascinatingly different place to the UK.

Spoken Russian lessons are going slowly though.

      Oh, and First!

That’s right, most of the things you see in Moscow/St. Petersburg (such as this stupid inflatable) are made for tourists. They are investing $$$ for tourist accommodation and treat Russians like shit.

Sounds like a great deal to me. You get off the train and a super gigantic woman hands you a loaf of salty bread.

On the other hand it sounds like a drug-induced hallucination.

Or a complete waste of money when there are more important priorities in this country that many seem to ignore and pretend they don’t exist.

Damn, please don’t count money in other’s pocket. This figure is made from carcass and rag, it cost a little and impress well. Also it was used near Moscow government house on day of the city.
