Unless I saw it, I will not assume a person takes such a risk in a heavy truck, to amuse himself. I think it’s more likely the driver chose the lesser of 2 evils at the time. Some person who didn’t know any better (a child or perhaps an idiot) moved suddenly into the path of the truck. A child (or perhaps an idiot) WILL take such a risk for amusement. The truck-driver chooses the excursion halfway off the road, rather than run-over somebody. The child (or idiot, as the case may be) moves-on; his work here is done.
