I’ve been there a couple of times as a customer. I’m sure it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be there as a customer in the near future, and I’m sure I won’t get a job there either.
Does anybody share my opinion that the “original” McDonalds in USA and other countries (Russia, for instance) are quite different (the quality of food and service)?
It is well known that they conform to their locations. They say that the same burgers are supposed to taste the same worldwide, but it’s bullshit. They change the amounts of ingredients in their menu to cater the locals. I don’t know about the service. I’ve only been to locations in Canada and USA and they’re more or less the same.
Also, working at McDonalds isn’t as bad as you might think. If you can manage to grow up and be mature, you might make a lot. Some managers make around $100,000 a year. And if you have a couple million stashed around, you can buy the franchise and run your own. However, I’m never going to work in a fast food joint.
It’s as bad as every routine job. You spend a third of your life and get absolutely nothing from it (I’m not talking about money.)
The restaurants in the US and Western Europe are just so “cheap”. You can go to a grocery store, buy some “free-fat” buns, frozen patties, etc and make a Big Mac better than the “original”.
Well, the American ones are “operated” by Mexicans and Blacks, and that explains a lot.
