This advertisement reminds me of the made for TV series back in the 80’s called AMERIKA. In the series, the USSR succeeds in conquering the USA. Images of the USSR are everywhere in the States (pictures of Lenin and Stalin etc.)

It’s not the same place. There are tons of places all over the world that look similar. Compare 2 pictures carefully and find differences.
Both photos are of Mt. Rainier. I actually live near it, and I can tell you without a doubt that both photos are of Ranier. I used to hunt elk on the borders of the park when I was a kid.
They probably used the photos because there’s a allot of stock photo’s of Rainier floating around. It’s strange though, because it’s not as if there are not a dozen rainier sized volcanos in Kamchatka.
What about the fact that on the poster, if you look at the landscape between 2900 and the soldier. It looks like there is a massive rocky area.
There is a slight difference in angle and the non-russian poster picture is from what appears to be a later time from the growth of the trees. If you actually look at the mountain you can see the ridges agree in position and number even though the snow load is different in both. And if you look above the space between the : and the 6 in the ad, you see near the top of the mountain a small reddish speck. The other photo has that geographic feature a bit more exposed but distinctively reddish in hue as well. The groupings of the trees are similar as well allowing for growth.
