Don’t be offended so easily, it is just humor.
Plus, I don’t think you represent the majority.

Both Americans and Russian are pretty sharp-witted people, and laugh good-naturedly a lot.
Looks like you’re not one of them!

Also, I was translated a lot of Russian anecdotes, and I believe Russian laugh yourselves pretty often. Even in Gulag no censorship can stop them!

Americans do the same (you should know if you live in USA).

Humor has some exaggeration, and nobody has to be so easily offended.

American comedians ridicule our president pretty often, sometimes even being invited by president to big red carpet ceremony translated by national TV. Comedians touch Christianity, use racial slur, use taboo words, offensive (in regular circumstances) remarks.

Conversely, many people are convinced that Russian president cannot handle even the slightest sarcasm directed against him.

Just my 2 pennies.
