Winter in St.Petersburg [photos]

Russian blogger Ila Varlamov visited St.Petersburg – Russia’s second largest city and has taken a couple of photos. It is looking bit Dostoevskish – take a look  – not the best idea to visit Petersburg in winter – in some places you will simply won’t be able to pass with a suitcase.

    Never thought there was a place as depressing as Glasgow (or any Scottish/northern English city in winter but I was wrong. Saying that I bet Saint Petersburg does look nice in summer though;

    Any city looks the same once you get away from the wealthy areas. Tired, worn and ordinary. This is why I moved to the country 😀

    I like the photography, I’d like to visit Russia one day. Away from the tourist stuff.
