    Looks like they are transporting removed rails from an abandoned rail line

    I think it would be safer to move railroad rails by train, rather than by truck, but hey, whatever works.

    I am pretty sure that is brand new rail, it is far to clean to have been in service. If you look at the web of the rail, you can see the raw steel, and the rail is not black with rust, it is still grayish, which is what new rail looks like.
