    What’s the base voltage in Russia? 240 across the upper body can be fairly hazardous!

    Some clarification… This guy was not trying to replace a bulb. The wiring is lousy and some wires connections get loose, disconnected over time. So he tried to explain where is the problem and how to fix it. He mentions – “… right here you can see the loose wires and … Kaboom!”. By accident he touched one (or more) of the loose wires… And yes, that is 240V, but most likely “just” across his fingers.
