Russian Man Finds a Liquidator Washed at the Shore of the Sea

Posted on October 18, 2018 by tim

A person from Kaliningrad found a piece of equipment washed ashore. He had no clue what this os so he shared the photos with the Internet and we repost them here, too. Besides looking like a military object it has the word “Liquidator” written in bug letters on the side of it.

He says that the object is pretty light.

And definitely looks military

“Launch”

“Liquidator”

Do you know what that can be?

Probably when you find something with “LIQUIDATOR” written on it it’s not the best idea to mess with it.

Yes, these are held by a long cable under a helicopter and ”dipped’ into the ocean to detect a lurking submarine. Sometimes they are also dropped into the water and transmit data back to a nearby ship. Yes, this is a part of anti-submarine warfare.
