Russia Army Shows Syrian Militants Shot Down drones

During the ARMY-2018 expo, the Russian army made a separate booth to display seized drones, made by Syrian militants, that were used to attack the Russian army during the battles there.

An Army representative said that during the last half of the year the amount of drones used again them increased significantly: just in the last month they captured fifty of them.

All of them carry explosives – that’s their main purpose, to deliver bombs into the Russian army.

And this photo is a Russian “Skolkovo” – a high tech state-sponsored hub near Moscow – model of the airplane drone. Funnily enough, on both sides you can find similarities in how the development of the thought goes:1535745810_1532503279_1394000207_049

What are essentially toys become deadly weapons of war.

As much as these have been converted into weapons, they are ingenious in their construction.

Yeah I agree with Ed, you have to be pretty smart to put together a workable model aircraft like that, however rudimentary. Wasted talents.

  4. Roberto says:

RC airplanes you see on Youtube, they rarely reach the size of these drones. These aren’t toys or converted model aircraft. They are small aircraft made by people with considerable aeronautical knowledge.
