    Depressing, derelict place… I really feel badly for the Russian scientists that have to spend time there. Also, lots of litter from the days gone bye, anyone going to clean up the place any time soon? I think Mr Putin gave a personal example helping clean up the island where the new arctic base was built. Maybe he should pay a visit here too…

    Could be Sarplaninac? Eastern Europes shepherd dog/

      Sarplaninac is a local breed from former Yugoslavia, a 0.001% chance you will find one on an island in the Russian arctic.
      Still looks a mutt to me.
