Posted on August 16, 2017 by tim

Vladimir Chaika turned a hallway of his apartment building – a building where he got an apartment – into a 19th century palace. What you see here is a work in a progress – not finished yet. However the man spent already sixteen years of his life.

Vladimir lives in this apartment since 1979. However all his life he dreamt of living in a palace.

In the end of 1990s he got all necessary papers including the permission from his neighbor   and the work started. After he got retired this work became his main occupation.

Everything is hand made.

Before the retirement Vladimir worked in construction business, but always was interested in arts and history.
