A Family in Belarus Lives in a 16 m2 Awesome House

Posted on February 8, 2017 by tim

A family in Belarus finds themselves comfortable in this new mini house they built. The square space of the habitat is just 16 m2 or around 160 sq ft. They are a family with a kid so it is around 5 m2 per person, including a bathroom, a kitchen an living space. Let’s see how it looks:

The idea to move out to such a small house came to them when they found themselves giving a lot for their monthly rent. So they figured out they can instead build a micro house and save on rent.

They have to use the place to its maximum. They sleep above the living room and down under their kitchen they have a storage place.

This house is deceptively large due to the fact that it utilizes several overlapping levels to magnify the cubic foot area of the total volume…..very clever.

The problem is, that boy cannot invite friends, no privacy at all :(

They began to build a large house on the purchased land nearby, and this will be the guest house.
Ride away from the center to the suburbs every day to build a house, to spend money on renting an apartment, gasoline and travel time.
They choose this option – temporarily live in this small house.

excellent, I love it. Tiny house and large bit of land to grow your own food and catch your own water is likely going to be the future for many people.
