Blogger fotografersha occupied a nice place at the monument to Minin and Pozharskiy on Red Square of Moscow to take images of the Victory Day parade from there. According to the blogger it was the best location for shooting. Let’s see…

8:30 a.m. No empty space at the road remained.

Buses with journalists arrive at 9 a.m. Fortunately, the sky is clear.

Snipers on the roof.


Veterans coming to the parade.

Generals in a good mood.

Many people hold carnations.

People photograph everything they see around…

… and wear St. George Ribbons.

President has come.

Snipers are ready to do their job.

Defence Minister of Russia Sergey Shoigu crosses himself.

And the parade began..

For better shooting special equipment has to be used.

“70” – 70th anniversary of the Victory.

Su-25 aircrafts are ending their performance.

    Wish I could have been there to see the parade, the superior military equipment, to pay my respect to the fallen, and personally thank the veterans who defeated Hitler, thus bringing WW2 to an end. Thank you Russia
