    Interesting. These shows very often impacted the morale very profoundly – German aircrafts were incomparably more advanced than Soviet ones. This is very well documented in memoirs. IIRC, Pokryshkin said something to the effect that they “had to fight steel and aluminium with canvas and wood”.

      That might well have been true at the beginning of the war Soviet tech progressed during the war.

        Well, maybe you would want to try some books – you know, those things made from paper with a lot of tiny letters in them. Do not panic – there are also pictures in many of them. They are usually stored in a room called “library”. I am sure your teacher will be happy to show you the way.

        Soviet regiments equiped with Yakovlev Yak-9 Anhilated German squadrons equiped with Messerschmitt Bf-109 and Focke-Wulf FW-190.
