7 Up Side Down Houses

Up Side Down Houses

Posted on December 17, 2014 by tim

Lately in Russia the trend to build up side down houses has emerged. As far as I understand the sole purpose of those is to make cool photos – both outside and inside, so a few was built in different Russian cities. Like in St. Petersburg they already have a few of those. And thanks to the photographers we have some photos of those from different parts of Russia.

Everything inside of those houses is up side down.

“It costs twice as much to build a normal house”, the owner says.

“At first the reaction of people is different. Some become dizzy, some say nothing happen, but after 30 minutes people tend to become nervous”

You see even movie running on flat tv screen is up side down.

This particular house we are looking at is deep in Siberia in city of Krasnoyarsk.

Also as you may have noticed there are no chandeliers or any other lamps on the “ceilings” – the owner say they don’t put them so people don’t trip on them.

And that’s how it looked from outside. They even mounted a car on the parking spot.

And here is another one – this time not in Siberia but deep into warm climate of the Black Sea coast.

This one works since 2013.

“It attracts sights from a distance as it is differs a lot from near by houses”.

“It looked like there was a tornado which overthrew the house”.

It’s a fun concept to put homes upside down, I’ve never seen anything like it. It also makes me think about gravity in a way, and why things aren’t upside down in the first place.

It is always interesting to see them, but it is not a new idea. In many countries they have such things. Googe will find many of them.
Another thing to do with a house – strange, distorted shape houses. For example the krzywy domek in Poland or Ray and Maria Stata Center in Boston.

    1) You are an idiot.
    2) Not only you are an idiot, but you also don’t understand what beauty is.
    3) You have too much money.
