Sneaking into an Active Russian Bomb Shelter

Posted on December 16, 2014 by tim

Armahema can be called a Banksy of Russian urban bloggers – he is always on a track to some forbidden highly guarded places. What differs him from many others that he often visits the places that even not yet abandoned but fully active and guarded. He gets in there like in his own house, turns the lights on and makes those awesome photos showing the objects like they are. Then leaves and publishes his photos.

This time Armahema went to one of the active bomb shelters. He doesn’t like put much text with his photos, probably due to security reasons. So here is his photo set and no comments.

Scary, but I am glad that they have this. When the Americans, frothing at the mouth for War, launch their planned attack against Russia, this and other facts may give them pause. Basics such as USA, living so high on the hog, and so exposed, has the most to lose. No one will benefit from the war if it comes.

Well, this may help to survive for a month or two and then what? All planet will be poisoned and destroyed. Most of the fresh water will be contaminated. So how you are going to live there?

LOL. yes, the americans are frothing at the mouth for war…LOL We’re just happy we can afford petrol again. we’ll get to invading russia so we can have all their…umm…uhh…well nothing. Get your head out of the clouds. no one wants war but rich idiots who profit from it. Whats it like to be so clueless?

There is a thing called resources. It has value to many people. Actually petrol is dirty cheap in America – check out the prices in the rest of the west countries. We pay as much per liter as you per gallon…

Funny, many Americans say the same thing about Russians. They’re usually regarded as dingbats. Sorry, most of yanks have too much other crap to worry about than taking over Russia.

Wow I would be terrified to be operated on in that base!

    • JBDragon says:

That base looks abandon for the most part. Why do bomb shelters never get maintained? Everything is OLD and Dated. Water and Food does need to be replaced once in a while!!! The place is dirty and falling apart. Maybe my definition of Maintained and usable is a little different then in Russia!!!

Russia has nothing the U.S. wants let alone go to war over. You start attacking other countries, then the U.S. has issues.

I bought a house in rural Tennessee that had an old Cold War bomb shelter on the property. It was actually under the basement, partially flooded. Basically doubled the cost for filling it in and clearing the house. It was fashionable to build bunkers and shelters then, but nobody ever maintained them. The Soviets made stuff just to keep busy, and nobody really knows how large or extensive their military industry was. I think that’s why we see so many places like this.
