    Nice pictures of Moscow, but two years after the end of the war a great deal of the western USSR was still in ruins. And comparing this to the USA of May 1, 1947 you get two different worlds.

    The market with caviar and huge fish in the cases looks good.
    Those fish were caught long before styrofoam was launched from the shores of affluence.
