“You don’t see an abandoned chemical plants often before the scrap metal hunters visit and pillage them. But when you can get a chance visit one you admire the place.”, writes Lana, the photographer who says she visited a plant producing organic substances, which  was not very active since early 2000s.

    do not think these were ‘organic’ substances this was for other purpose of ussr weapons

    You don’t get it… the Russian’s official line was that it was an “organic chemistry lab”. Just like when the U.S. bombs a munitions dump somewhere, it suddenly becomes a children’s hospital.
