Blagoveschensk is a city in the Russian Far East, the administrative centre of the Amur region. It is very far from Moscow, on the boarder with China, opposite Heihe. Besides, it is the only administrative constituent territory of the Russian Federation that lies directly on its state border. Right now we are going to show you this city from above.

    The photos of illuminated buildings, tower, high-rises, and ferris wheel are of the Chinese side of the river, the town of Heihe. The Russian side is with all the low buildings, no high-rise, and no landmarks – apart from the gate with twin steeples on the river foreshore.
