8 Happy Soviet Children

Happy Soviet Children

Posted on October 30, 2013 by team

This is a very interesting historic material. This album that glorifies Soviet power and the politics of Stalin was published in 1947, two years after the war. The pictures illustrate life of Soviet children from the moment their birth. They are all happy and smiling. Of course! They were born in the country of wonderful communist future!

There were a lot of problems within the implementation and execution of early Communist ideals under all of Lenin’s successors (especially Stalin who deliberately murdered millions of his own people through schemes of political terror and engineered famine for political gain). But the love and devotion of ordinary Russian people to the health and well being of their children is still a thing of beauty to be admired. If Russian people are to be judged by anything it is by the love and care for their children.
