Those who are older than thirty still remember how they were sent to farms for harvesting when they were young. It was absolutely normal for students, schoolchildren, workers of public institutions. Did you have such experience?

    The women in photos are not farmers by any chance..they are models
    after killing entire farmers of russia,commies went to modernize agriculture with it dedicated communists party appartichiks and the result was=huge failure
    for most of its existence,USSR imported food for its populace
    But party bosses got best food products of world

    Interesting, but better to live in a country with an advanced, highly mechanized agriculture like the USA.

    In Romania we did the same harvesting on the field in the time of primary school. The work was paid but very cheap, few bucks (10-20) after whole season.
