Heavy Equipment Abandoned On the Seashore

Look at the incredible contrast of the deep blue sea, bright flower meadows and abandoned heavy military machines slowly tortured by natural forces on the shore of the Barents Sea.  In 1995 the local division was disbanded and the military equipment – DP-62 “Damba” – a coastal jet-propelled bomb-trhowing complex was simply left at the seashore doomed to decay.

    They protected this place due to it being the closest vicinity to the United States.

    i really wish i lived in russia, there is so much to see, i personally love to explore old military bases and things, but it is a pity that in scotland there is very little of that, hence the reason i am on here, to witness them second hand
