More than 6 000 pcs of seized or voluntarily turned in firearms were smelted in the Rostov region recently. From the resulted metal they plan to make fittings for the building complex. Such operation is held approximately once in two years.

    looks like a lot of old double barrel shotguns in the 1st picture. Those type shotguns are probably worth much more that the price of the scrap metal.

    Yes the double barreled shotguns are sporting items with little military value.

    So strict gun control laws will keep weapons from the hands of criminals. Any tighter gun laws than Russia ? Gun Control only effects law abiding citizens.
