    Ukrainian Highway

Do you know what it is like to take a highway in Ukraine? Here is an idea of the how fast you can go thru one of the main routes connecting two major Ukrainian cities. Also they say it was fully reconstructed couple of years ago when Ukraine hosted world’s soccer cup. Looks like it didn’t last that long. I personally adore that bumping sound then and that.

Ukraine is a crappy country because it has a CRAPPY culture and therefore society, and therefore roads.

The dps can’t make any money from cars traveling at this speed on this kind of roads. Build better roads so traffic cops don’t go hungry.

I bet you can find such roads in every country, even in “High Standard countries” like USA or EU countries.

Nice russian comments, from people who have now accepted the fact that Ukraine is independant and will never get back to Russia :)
In Russia, many roads are like this, or even worse (look at the “motorway” in the far east : just plain mud…

You’ll never find an operational highway like this in the U.S. Give the Holy Fascist Emperor Hussein the First a few years, though, and we’ll catch up with Ukraine.

If you think that it’s a bad road, you should come to Montreal.

I’ve actually seen rural county roads like this in East Tennessee. We don’t get alot of snow, although we do see below freezing temps. Simply because they only get repaved every 25 years. The less traveled roads get’s the least attention.
