War Time Movie Sets Are Like Real

Few know that near Saint Petersburg there is an interesting place like this. These movie sets are almost like real except some minor details which are not so easy to notice. The gloomy movie sets were created for shooting the film called “Stalingrad” – about the great battle for the city.

They say 120 million rubles (4 million dollars) was spent to make this city of the war time.

    I think they shot “Enemy At the Gates ” in Poland. Its a lot easier now, with CGI tech. You and get as detailed as you want, but I think doing it in the old way with sets and extras and real stuff is best. Some of the Better movie making is coming out of Russia and Germany these days, And I am an American. The stuff coming out of Hollywood has been pretty poor the last 20 or so years.
