
Not far from Moscow there was held an exhibition of handguns that was devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the battle for Stalingrad. What? No SVT-40? I have one, made in 1942, that hits consistently at 1000 metres with it’s iron sites. Sure, you can’t use it as a club, like a Mosin, and kicks like a horse, but a very fine rifle!
