Muslim Capital of Russia: An Overnight Flight

    11
Posted on January 22, 2013 by team

Cities are nearly always beautiful at night with their lights and illumination. Especially when observed from roofs of tall buildings. But what if we climb even higher? We are going to fly over Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, at night.

This is an international airport “Kazan”.

It’s the centre of the city.

    The famous Kazan Kremlin.

Kul-Sharif – the main Muslim mosque of Kazan and Tatarstan.

    The Kremlin is illuminated brightly.

    It’s the Palace of Farmers.

    This is the railway station.

    The dam is being reconstructed.

A football stadium built for 45000 people (one of the objects for Universiade 2013).

The night was beautiful, it’s time to land though.

    Location: Kazan, Tatarstan

It seems that these Muslims are unlike their Middle Eastern cousins.

The city is at least half Christian, although I doubt the people from both halves are religious.

Nice city, but I wish the approach from Moscow was less of a pain in the butt with the entry to the bridge full of stick wavers slowing the traffic down. Same for the way back. The exit on the other side to the east is without any check.

Kazan it’s a beautiful city: at the same time; maybe could be in the world a unique country like Russia having such city, because we all are the same either Muslims or Christians we all are human beings. I have seen English Russia for a few years: and what have show about Russia; have been the all levels of Russia. This way: not going to be propaganda; but demonstration of reality. I wish the world could be with realities and every country stop wars. The problem humans having and that must be a disease of WEALTH, for that point the planet are in bigger trouble for a possible nuclear war, but the climate change also is reality, and one way or another, humans don’t want to understand and for that matter only create hatred. I wouldnt say that Kazan is the muslim capital of Russia. As u may see on the photo its the place where mosques and otrodox churches are build next to each other. So this is a place where people of different cultures are live in peace for a centuries, we call it the bridge connecting the east and west

The official capital of Islam (where the Grand Mufti resides) of the Russian Federation is Ufa, in Bashkortostan. Kazan is larger, but still.

Those who propagate hate, are the seeds that human being must control to put an end to peace less world, to say( it’s a Muslim capital bomb it and turn it to a Parkin lot) first of all this is natzi ideology. Isnt this kind of thinking what started the war on Iraq totally based on lies and mis guidance so many people have died, all it takes for evil to succeeds is for good people to do nothing. Just because some individual Muslim where used by ome filthy people to do dirty works. doesn’t mean Islam neither Muslims are that way.
