Photos of the Russian Royal Family

    22
Posted on January 10, 2013 by team

All these photographs of the Russian royal family of tsar Nicholas II are taken from the British archive. We cannot even say if they are rare or, on the contrary, rather famous. Though they are interesting to see anyway.

There is something special about these faces..

Well, people of the uppermost class looked healthy and pretty back then, anyhow. I doubt that the average peasant did.

Well, at least they looked better than under Lenin, Stalin and his cronies…

Not too sure what Queen Victoria and her son would say to being slipped in halfway through the album. After all the British Royal House survives! ;-)

They kept their cousins in Russia, so it is just as if they had killed them themselves.

Pitty that in this post we don’t have in mirror the pictures of those who replace the Romanovs, respectevly: Lenin, Trosky, Stalin, Kaganovich &Co and all jewish/soviet criminals. Beauty and the beasts in the same thread that it will be the point

Too bad that most of the pictures are unlabeled. I’d like to be sure who some of these people are. BTW, isn’t that Nicholas II with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of England?

Pravda actually has a good article out right about now, mentioning this family.
Basically, you were free under them, at least you had your freedom and were able to keep and own guns.
As soon as lenin came to power, all that ended, you were pretty much prisoners, unable to fight back.
“cousin Nicky” may not have been perfect, but seriously, he was a lot better than what came after him!

      N. Romanov ended up paying for his delusional an idea of reformation. Every member of the family was acidized, bodies were burned with acids after execution. Russia still draft for military services – nothing has changed. Awesome nation but unchangeable filthy government.

What is so problematic about a draft? Many countries do draft people…

What a shame we won’t return them ever. Next time something goes wrong in the west don’t ask us to help, or don’t try to invide us. In both cases nations will suffer! Either yours or ours.

@Marie: You don’t blame an entire country for what a group of people did. If you think all the people of Russia wanted the Bolsheviks, you need to catch up on your history.

There is a Wiki on the family and their murders – as well as much more info online in many places; just Google the Romanov family:
