“Ural Locomotives” is a railway engineering company in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, not far from Yekaterinburg, Russia. It produces freight electric locomotives and freight electric locomotives. We are about to walk along its shops.

The production faxilities are intended for making 120 locomotives a year. It consists of seventeen areas – each has its own purpose.

This is a wheeled motor blocks assembly area.

Here they weld and assemble electric bogie frames.

The bogie frame is being welded automatically.

The body of the locomotive is being welded and assembled.

The site is used for formation of wheelsets.

In this shop they make roofs.

Cabins have a reliable modular design.

    Looks very professional to first assemble the car, and than do the painting with windows, lights and other details improperly masked…
