This entertainment is not always safe, of course. And you take a risk anyway when decided to jump from a roof. Even when you have all necessary safety equipment you cannot be sure it’s going to end well.
Luckily they escaped with fright only.

Fake. No way could he hang on like that. Plus you can see he is attached to the rope under his jacket. It just looks unnatural
Good stunt, but a fake. The guy holding the rope has a harness on too, going through the sleeve of his coat. you can see his coat sleeve get really wide when he gets pulled down.

Obviously the harness was under his jacket and the rope was connected to it under the sleeve. There is no way someone can handle such G forces with one forearm muscles. Nice try though.
