One Flight Over the Big Russian City

Posted on October 17, 2012 by team

Yekaterinburg is a bright city where comparatively ambitious construction projects are being realized. It became the first Russian provincial city where appeared buildings higher than 50 storeys. The capital of Ural is a large financial and industrial centre, it is the fourth Russian city according to the number of its population.

Right now we are going to have an air tour over Yekaterinburg.

This is the center of the city.

    It’s the sports palace.

Church on the Blood was built on the site of the execution of the royal family of the Romanovs.

    It’s the cityhall.

This is a business center of the city.

“Vysotsky” is the highest building of Yekaterinburg.

It has 54 storeys and the height of 188 m (617 ft).

But now they are building “Iset’ Tower” which is going to be higher than “Vysotsky” – 54 storeys, 209 m (686 ft).

This monument to the founders of the city is often called “Beavis and Butthead”.

This is a monument to … a keyboard.

The palace was built in the nineteenth century.

    It’s the “Uralmash” plant.

This is going to be the presidential center “Demidov”.

    It is Novo-Tikhvin Nunnery.

This is the street named after Boris Yeltsin.

This is “Koltsovo” airport at night.

It is the fifth largest Russian airport according to the volume of traffic (after three airports of Moscow, and one of St. Petersburg).

It’s the control tower of the airport.

This is the Residence of the Presidential Envoy in the Urals Federal District.

    It’s the movie theatre “Cosmos”.

We hope you liked to fly with us!

Bob does not know what Zimbambwe is nor can afford to travel to Zimbabwe nor to Yekaterinburg because his paycheck is just enough to pay his credit card debt on his new video game console and his three year old lap top with which he is online now. So Bob is forced to stay in a little mid-west town and drive an early 90s US car with 300k miles on its engine. Bob will surely vote for Mitt Romney, because one day in the future he will be millionaire he thinks, but at the end of the day he will hook up on EBT and medicaid because he is so narrow-minded that no respectable firm will give any senior role. And that is the end of the story. We should feel pity for him and stop insulting Mr Mugabe with such comparisons, he deserved better.

Unfortunately you describe all to many Americans. Being one I know. No one knows what the effect of such horrendous debt will be on the coming economic collapse. I’m thankful that I am old when I consider the possibilities. BTW, you may not realize that our elite loves socialism. You know, the kind where you socialize the expense and privatize the profits.
