While the Red Light Is On

Posted on October 9, 2012 by team

Even the smallest violation of traffic rules may make others just furious. The insulted guys decided to revenge the driver who violated the rules right there, on the road, while the red light was on. If all drivers are punished like this there would be much fewer accidents on the roads.

What if that driver had a gun?

seriously people need to start driving with their doors LOCKED…

  2. Got off easy says:

I’m thinking after he ran away, get in his car and run it into a wall, or tree.

  3. René says:

Lock your car doors AT ALL TIMES!

  4. 70KokuSamurai says:

This was staged of course, but in Florida U.S.A. the driver could have legally shot those two idiots under the “stand your ground law”. It’s clear they could do great bodily harm to the guy and that’s all he needs to give the attackers a lead lunch.

    • America says:

In FL there is absolutely no need to invoke the new “stand your ground” law in this situation. The reason being it has always been legal to keep a concealed and loaded firearm in your vehicle that is quickly accessible, no concealed carry permit required, and you absolutely have a right to defend yourself if someone appears to be trying to carjack you. Don’t ever let your anger get the best of you and do something like this in FL, unless you are prepared to get shot. Many law abiding Floridians carry a loaded gun in the car. And for Christ’s sake lock your car doors people!

For anyone interested in the particulars…

        rom the Florida Statutes….
790.25 Lawful Ownership, Possession, and Use of Firearms and Other Weapons
        (5) POSSESSION IN PRIVATE CONVEYANCE. Notwithstanding subsection (2), it is lawful
and is not a violation of s. 790.01 for a person 18 years of age or older to possess a concealed firearm or other weapon for selfdefense or other lawful purpose within the interior of a private conveyance, without a license, if the firearm or other weapon is securely encased or is otherwise not readily accessible for immediate use. Nothing herein contained prohibits the carrying of a legal firearm other than a handgun anywhere in a private conveyance when such firearm is being carried for a lawful use. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to authorize the carrying of a concealed firearm or other weapon on the person. This subsection shall be liberally construed
in favor of the lawful use, ownership, and possession of firearms and other weapons, including lawful selfdefense as provided in s. 776.012.

790.001 Definitions. As used in this chapter, except where the context otherwise requires:
        (17) “Securely encased” means in a glove compartment, whether or not locked; snapped in a holster; in a gun case, whether or not locked; in a zippered gun case; or in a closed box or container which requires a lid or cover to be opened for access.

        • America says:

BTW just to be clear you can NOT have the weapon on your person while in the vehicle. That would require a Concealed Weapon Permit. Also it must be a “private conveyance”. And of course this is not legal advise just 2nd hand “facts”. You are responsible for your own actions. Consult an attorney if you really need a legal opinion.

  5. Dan says:

I think the guy deserved it. He was really driving like an a**.

    • America says:

Two wrongs don’t make a right. And in FL your just giving the bad driver a reason to shoot you, legally. Just sayin’. Don’t be stupid and let your anger get the best of you. Not worth it.

  6. Jeebs says:

You could not pay me enough to drive in Russia it’s just not safe the people don’t have good driving skill

  7. Dr. Dot says:

this is basically what happens when you keep a country on basic rations, taking equality to the Nth degree (you can not have a car until everybody can have a car), then suddenly turn capitalism loose on them. You have a lot of people that didn’t grow up around cars (and understand that they outweigh you by a factor of 10 or more) suddenly with enough money to buy what amounts to more car than they can control. Interesting to say the least. However, jumping out in front of cars is a quick way of ending up badly injured or dead, blackmail aside. As my father used to say: “But I had the right of way!” will look wonderful on your gravestone.

  8. STress says:

That’s why in FL you have H. Caine. :P
Those two guys are my heroes. They do exactly what I want to do in quite similar and frequent occasions. The only thing that makes me go nuts is traffic violation including my life and my car.
