The Russian “Rus” aerobatics team flying by L-39 jet planes which is one of the best in the world and is one of top-ten world aerobatics teams. The scenario of their shows is always the same: the planes come from nowhere, perform graceful and complex tricks and disappear suddenly leaving lost in admiration spectators alone. But what work precedes the performance and what happens behind the curtain? We’ll try to answer the question today.

The training center where the planes used by the “Rus” team and other vehicles are based can be visited by people who want to try flying just like professional pilots do.

The planes are getting ready for the flight.

    The Aero L-29 Delfín.

    The Let L-410 Turbolet.

Private planes are also based here.

People who want to become pilots or make parachute jumps come to the class rooms for studying.

    L-39.

The plane saved from destroying by the employees of the center is a modification of MiG-21MT. Only fifteen planes like this were produced. The model wasn’t popular due to worsening of flight characteristics instead of the increased flying distance.

    A training model for students.

As soon as students obtain an idea about the plane construction and flight rules, they go through the medical examination and are admitted to the plane.

Now the plane is allowed to fly.

Industrial area of the adjacent city.

The speed was 500 km an hour, the height was two km.

The clouds were running by fast.

    Landing the plane.

Students who land their planes successfully and have no problem at flight get a badge and a booklet with photos and signatures of the pilots of the aerobatic team. The unique experience can never be forgotten.
