    Such a mess! No wonder they cannot compete. And the the Superjet crash in Indonesia. Does not look good for the Russian commercial plane industry.

    WOW last picture is of a blanik L13 cockpit many many rivets flying in formation, they were good gliders in their time but not any more too much metal fatigue !!!

      Of course it poorly lit. The lights are off as you may have noticed. They didn’t have permission to be there, as it says in the source.

    Hmm, there is a Blanik at our local field and seems to fly every week.

    I have seen many hours of Russian aircraft,they have a great history and there machines are very much respected around the world. The only thing different is how it is managed from the top down. It will be very interesting to see how things unfold in the next thirty years.
